I am excited that Andrew has decided to run for City Council. I know that he is deeply committed to our community and with his passion, expertise and dedication he would be a welcome addition to the City leadership team.

Andrew brings both a quest for knowledge and a strong desire to pass on a better world to the next generation. This is what we are needing right now as we are faced with the biggest political challenges of our generation. I am grateful to Andrew for stepping up to the job!

I know Andrew to be passionate about sustainability and protection of our natural resources, while supporting more affordable and climate-friendly housing in our urban core.  He was an important voice during interim zoning in advocating for increased protections of natural habitat.  I am confident he will continue promoting natural resource protection when elected as City Councilor.

Andrew is an extraordinary human being. I could see this the moment I met him and have seen it more and more as I have worked with him. He is a brilliant thinker, writer and speaker. He has boundless energy for preserving and protecting the environment. He is dedicated to the well-being and welfare of our city. He has a wonderful wife and college aged kids. He’s a good, caring and kind person.

Andrew has keen insights and ideas, does the necessary behind-the-scenes and public work to move important initiatives forward, and has an understanding of and focus on action that can benefit the whole community.

Andrew has many of the qualities I most admire in leaders: hard work and deep analyses of complex issues, kindness and generosity toward all, careful listening and respectful disagreement during discussions of controversial proposals.
